Pair of Sèvres porcelain vases with love scenes painted in polychrome inside reserves and signed Gillet. On a cobalt blue background stand out the rich gold decorations with leaf volutes and plant motifs. The vases are mounted on gilded bronze and have side sockets. Under the base is the maker's mark.

19th Century / 1801 - 1900

Pair of Medici vases in gilded and chiseled bronze with plinth base decorated with vegetable and Greek motifs. The two vases have two terminal handles with lion heads.

16th Century / 1501 - 1600

A basement of the Renaissance, bronze. Three feet and a hole in the middle. Three paws of winged lions support the basement. Bas reliefs depicting garlands surmounted by storks are represented within a reserve contained in moldings on each side of the basement. The three uprights are surmounted by ram's heads. The round relief was probably welded in the 19th century to convert the item in an inkpot. Manufactured in Tuscany, Italy, first half of the 16th century.

China, Republican Era 1920-1930

Large baluster-shaped vase in porcelain painted with Qianjiang polychrome enamels with a decoration of herons among plants and peony flowers and a large pine tree. Lateral handles pierced and partly gilded. Circular wooden stand. Republic era China circa 1920-1930.

China Second half of the 1900s

Porcelain vase decorated within fan-shaped cartouches with scenes of Japanese daily life. The enamels in shades of red and black embellished in gold like the "chilong" dragons that act as side grips. The decoration represented in the Kyoto Satsuma style. China second half of the 20th century. circa 1980-1990.
