Rome, Third Quarter XVIII Century

Baroque commode subsequently transformed into a bedside table by blocking the top, Rome, third quarter of the eighteenth century. Supported by four wavy legs, on the wavy front it has two shaped doors in the lower part; the upper surface is also shaped. The external surface is veneered in various essences, including walnut, cherry, maple and fruit wood. The top, front and sides are then decorated with walnut pedule reserves placed within maple borders, with the same number of panels in the center containing inlaid compass roses. Gilt bronze applications placed at the top of the uprights.

White marble top, front with door and two drawers, the first of which juts out, uprights with ebonized round columns decorated with carved and gilded capitals; turned front feet also ebonized and embellished with gilded leaf carving. English style bedside table supported by truncated pyramidal feet, on the front it has a small door surmounted by a small drawer; the top is adorned with a shaped cymatium. Veneered in mahogany, it is adorned with geometric threads in maple, while in the center of the door there is an oval reserve inlaid in the center of which there are phytomorphic decorative motifs.
