France, Second Half XVIII Century

Wooden clock covered with green resin in a later period and contemporary gilded bronze decorations. Gilded and chiseled bronze dial with a pair of cornucopias in the center and a bust of a man portrayed in profile. Hours and minutes in enamelled metal. The clock rests on a carved, gilded and green patinated wooden shelf. Mechanism marked Joseph Rebeirony. The clock strikes hours and a half and is equipped with a cord for night recall.

India, Early 900s

Bronze sculpture in Cholla style, chiseled and burnished, depicting Krishna with a gopi. Krishna who is the incarnation of the god Visnu is represented here with a "gopi" a herdswoman, eager to reunite with the divine, therefore a metaphor of the relationship between what is divine and what is human.

Lamp-mounted bronze baluster vase. Perforated base with chinoiserie motifs and side handles with dragons.

Italy, XX Century

Small biscuit table in bois de rose with shaped and inlaid top depicting floral motifs and oval ebonised wood reserve depicting musical panoply in the centre. Ornamental bronze running all the way along the under-top band, three legs carved with small applied bronze flowers connected by cross-bar with small pinnacle below. Italy 20th century.

Bronze duck depicted resting on one leg on a base in the shape of a tree trunk. Clenched in its beak it holds a lotus leaf with a tip that served as a candlestick, while the part at the opening on the back had the function of burning incense.

Italy Mid 1900s approx

Paper-covered plastic terrestrial globe with bronze stand. Maker's mark near the equator line.

Wooden travel trunk with silver patinated bronze samovar. The samovar has engraved marks of origin and manufacture and has a height of 45 centimeters. Probably some elements are missing from the trunk.

Bronze dish finely engraved and gilded in relief with plant and animal motifs. The dish is held by a gilt bronze riser, pierced and chased. The four feet are in the shape of a ferine with leaf volutes and the two handles are in the shape of winged dragons.

17th Century / 1601 - 1700

Embossed and chiselled octagonal bronze almoner decorated with plant motifs. Lightly rounded.
