Antique Chest of Drawers Transformed into a Bar Cabinet Louis XV - France, XVIII Century

Rome, Third Quarter XVIII Century

Baroque commode subsequently transformed into a bedside table by blocking the top, Rome, third quarter of the eighteenth century. Supported by four wavy legs, on the wavy front it has two shaped doors in the lower part; the upper surface is also shaped. The external surface is veneered in various essences, including walnut, cherry, maple and fruit wood. The top, front and sides are then decorated with walnut pedule reserves placed within maple borders, with the same number of panels in the center containing inlaid compass roses. Gilt bronze applications placed at the top of the uprights.

Emilia Romagna, Early XVIII Century

Baroque sideboard in elm, Emilia, early 18th century. Front with three drawers in the band and pair of doors. Decorated with walnut frames and tiles and with metal studs, the latter partly added later. Restorations.

Mid XVIII Century

Baroque walnut chest, Italy, mid-18th century. Tripartite front, decorated with rocaille style carvings and curls placed within reserves, uprights with forty-five degree pilasters carved in a curl. Restorations.

Piedmont, Late XVIII-Early XIX Century

Neoclassical walnut wardrobe, Piedmont, late 18th - early 19th century. Front with pair of doors decorated with breadstick tiles. Carved drip tray placed under the hat.

Italy, Early XVIII Century

Baroque chest of drawers supported by bracket feet, on the front it has 4 drawers; in walnut, the front has briar reserves and threads in maple and darkened wood essence, interiors in fir and poplar. The top was replaced with recycled antique wood.

Tuscany Early XVIII Century

Baroque cantarano in walnut and walnut slab, Tuscany, early 18th century. Shaped top, uprights at 45° with architectural pilasters and applied festoons in carved and gilded wood. Front with 4 drawers, one of which in the band, non-coeval turned feet. Poplar interior. Small restorations; small defects in the carving of the pilasters.

Italy, Early XVIII Century

Baroque wardrobe with two paneled and carved doors with frames and tiles, created by re-adapting the top of an ancient sideboard to which the base with drawer was added during the nineteenth century. Lacquered, it is decorated with golden frames.

Tyrol, Early XVIII Century

Spruce Baroque sideboard, Tyrol early 18th century. Architecturally moulded top and lower plinth, front with two doors each decorated with a pair of moulded cornices. Embellished with lozenge-engraved geometric elements and door leaf carved with ‘scale’ motif. Hinges and lock in wrought iron, the latter bearing engraved designs. Interior with fabric-covered tops.

England, Late XVIII Century

George III mahogany veneered chest of drawers, England third quarter 18th century. Front with three drawers plus under-counter desk pull, wavy legs. Fir backrest. Lack of veneering.

Italy, Late XVIII Century

Plate in polychrome majolica, podded body and lobed edge. Architectures in manganese cable, surrounded by foliage in shades of ocher, cobalt and ramin.

Piedmont, Late XVIII Century

Piedmontese flap with four drawers, surmounted by a shaped door that opens with a flap concealing a cabinet with central compartment and small side drawers; in chestnut, the interiors are in poplar. It has restorations and has been modified in the height of the feet.
